As Head of Operations & Resource, Mike is passionate about the expertise and dedication that define Capcon’s people. With extensive experience in the hospitality sector, he believes it’s this unique combination of insight and professionalism that makes Capcon the natural choice for managing risk across any hospitality venture.

Mike began his career in hospitality before joining Capcon in 1990 as a Stock Auditor. His early focus on integrating emerging EPOS technologies into the audit process helped transform how data was harnessed to drive accuracy and insight. Later, as Head of IT, he led the development of Capcon’s bespoke software systems – combining his practical operational knowledge with technical innovation. This blend of hands-on experience and systems expertise remains the foundation of Capcon’s market-leading reporting and control solutions.

Outside of work, Mike takes pride in watching his children grow into inspiring young adults, and he remains deeply connected to the industry that shaped his career. A highlight from his early years remains qualifying as a Cellar Manager with Eldridge Pope while still at university – an early achievement that sparked his lifelong passion for hospitality and continuous improvement.
