Mike Porteous

Director of Operations & Resource

Mike is Director of Operations & Resource at Capcon. He helps make sure the business has the right people, systems, and processes in place to support clients across the hospitality sector.

Mike started his career in hospitality before joining Capcon in 1990 as a Stock Auditor. He has since worked across operations and IT, helping Capcon use technology and data to improve the accuracy and value of its audit work.

His experience in hospitality, stock auditing and systems development gives him a strong understanding of the challenges clients face. Today, Mike uses that experience to support Capcon’s teams and help deliver clear, reliable reporting and control solutions.

Outside work, Mike is proud of his family and enjoys staying connected to the hospitality industry that shaped his career.
